Verkhovna Rada put changes into the Land Codex (Law 2520) with regret of sales and rent of land spots of communal and state ownership for building purpose usage without holding an auction.

This item is not concerned to the selling of objects for privatization. As well this item doesn’t touch the plots that have the Ukrainian real estate that is owned by juridical and physical persons. According to the new rules selling of such land plots must be held for the price not lower than the cost of analogous plots sold on the auction or for the market price that is set up during the trading process.

As it was reported Verkhovna Rada deputies Olexandr Turchinov ("Yulia Tymoshenko block") and Olga Bondar ("Nasha Ukraina" block fraction) proposed Verkhovna Rada to regret the selling and rent of the land plots for the building that are of state or communal ownership without carrying an auction.
