President of Ukraine Viktor Yuschenko reported today on the briefing in Kryviy Rih that transnational company Arcelor Mittal has the intension to the projects in Ukraine 10 mlrd of USA.

Yuschenko admitted that the data of agreement are reached while his private meeting with the owner of the company Lakshmi Mittal during their stay at the metallurgical industrial complex Mittal Steel Kryviy Rih.

According to the words of President in some time the fileds, territories and temporal projects will be developed.

Yuschenko mentioned the proper agreement to build the covered palace for winter sport in Kryviy Rih for the money provided.

Mittal Steel (Mittal Steel Company N.V.) - is the largest metallurgical group of the world. It is registered in Rotterdam (Netherlands), the staff is located in London. General quantity of working people is 179000 people. Company was founded by the union of the enterprises Ispat International N.V (previously possessing LNM Holdings N.V) and International Steel Group Inc. in 2005.

The control package of stocks is owned by the British businessman of Indian origin Lakshmi Mittal and his family. The company owns metallurgical enterprises, located in Great Britain, USA, Canada, Poland, Czech, Germany, Ukraine, SAR, Kazakhstan and other countries.

In October 2005 Mittal Steel won the repeat contest in the privatization of the largest Ukrainian enterprise Krivorozhstal.
