Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) is making cooperation with the World Bank on the issue of attracting a grant to draft a general plan for Kyiv's development until 2025, KCSA Head Oleksandr Popov has mentioned.

"On Friday we will conclude an agreement with the World Bank on attracting a grant due to the fact that foreign consultants will be involved in work on this program," he added at a press conference on Wednesday.

He mentioned that the general plan for Kyiv's development until 2025 will be drafted only at the expense of borrowed funds, without any budgetary spending. He said that this work would also be financed by the Foundation for Effective Governance. Popov also mentioned that the best domestic experts and scientific institutions would be engaged in drafting the plan.

The drafting of the program is to be finished in May 2011, he noticed.
