Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has noted that she expects Ukraine's new Association Agreement with the European Union will determine visa-free travel prospects for the Ukrainians.
The Ukrainian Prime Minister said about that at the meeting with the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski on Wednesday.
Apart from that, Tymoshenko added that a free-trade area agreement with Europe would be signed by the end of this year.
The German minister of foreign affairs reported that it is really important for his country to hear a positive response about Ukraine from the International Monetary Fund.
He also added that to tackle the effects of the global financial recession, this country should consolidate all branches of power and tackle its political crisis.
In turn, Tymoshenko admitted she hoped that the Lisbon Treaty to change the working of the EU would soon be concluded, and the final expansion of the union would be "properly regulated." |
