In the name of Ukraine, the document was signed by Minister of Finances Viktor Pinzenyk, and in the name of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) by its Secretary General Horst Reichenbach, according to NCRU.
The annual meeting of the EBRD board will be held in Kyiv May 18 through 20, 2008. It will be the second meeting held in this country.
Viktor Pinzenyk said that during the meeting Ukraine will be given a chance to present its investment projects, in the first place those concerning preparations for Euro 2012.
Particularly, he implied chances for directing investment in the improvement of roads and sport infrastructure, as investments are called to meet 90% of the championship financial needs.
At the same time, the minister noted that the national budget provides for extension of 25 billion of hryvnas to these needs in 2008, of which12 billion of hrn is destined for the construction of roads and country infrastructure. |
