The Ukrainian Parliament reported on Monday it has concluded agreement with the visiting International Monetary Fund mission on most outstanding issues related to its USD15 billion stand-by facility.
"Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has mentioned that, as a result of the meeting, compromise has been reached on most memorandum items," the government added in a statement referring to a document that outlines key economic policies.
The IMF mission leader confirmed this view in the statement.
"We have had agreement as for practically all issues that we had raised," Thanos Arvanitis was cited in the statement as saying. |
