Warm wind started blowing, pleasant sun shines cover you face and body, smells fresh and greatly. Spring and summer are coming! Everybody knows that these seasons bring a lot of fun and pleasure rest for those who is tired from cold winter. Everybody knows where to go in order to plunge into a remarkable nature and wonderful rest – Crimea! So what does the famous tourist zone -Crimea -prepare for the new season?!

Demand records

This year is going to have a tourist agiotage in the Crimea as this summer is forecasted to be hot. In spite of all records of previous summer season, all large tour operators predict the increasing in demand for 30%. The air transfer companies agree with the latest, in particular the company UMAir that last year transferred more than 40 000 passengers to Sympheropil. Not it has planned to proceed in 20-30% flights more and to carry out 15 flights (Kyiv-Simpheropil –Kyiv) per day. Modern private resort complexes, cottage towns and private houses already reconstructed their Crimean real estate in order to accept new visitors. As for the health resort area they also continue improving their condition as many of them were built yet at Soviet times and really need some renovation.

General intention of all property market players to increase the terms of the high season is not only words. Crimea is a unique corner of our country that has a bit different subtropical climate that is pleasant to live and to rest in every season. All hotels, cottages or private resort places are provided by the annual hot, cold water and heating. So nobody will feel cold here. Traditional excursion programmes always are being improved, propagated and adapted to any type of weather.

But definitely the “highest” season that in majority attracts thousands of tourists from Ukraine and other European countries starts in May, when the weather changes rapidly from warm mild into hot and dry. Recent improvements in new excursions include an exciting trip to the single in the countries of Union of Independent States (UIS) – donkey farm with walk along the picturesque mountain paths, jeep-safari, traveling on the moto cross-country vehicles, all-terrain vehicles. An exciting and unforgettable memory will be caused by the vertical way down from the rock Ak-Kaya.

Besides new and new resort complexes are built in the large resort cities of the coast. They have a large number of recreation zones, entertainment centers that work almost all year round: bowling, paintball, SPA-centers, discos and of course the restaurants of different price category.

All this also helps to develop successfully conference- tourism in autumn-spring period. As practice of last years shows companies from different countries take their coworkers or partners in order to combine useful with pleasant. As well the term “pleasant” includes not only a traditional banquet but complete cultural programme with excursions and rest in SPA- and wellness-centers. There is no need to worry about the technical side- separate houses, cottages, VIP halls in the private hotels are built according to the best European standards, are well-equipped and ideally suit business events.

And now more about new entertainment that are prepared by the Crimeans for new season. The main event that even gathered large press-tour in the view of exhibition was the launching under the water the first tourist submarine – “Omar” (regarding which any one can go under the water without any special preparations) and opening of Balaklava department of State Sea Museum.

In general Crimea is going to develop diving so that it could attract the lovers of researching of sea deep waters who prefer to go far away from their native coast. Of course Black sea can not boast with coral cays and variability of the differently colored fish, but it is very attractive by its nature underwater landscapes, consequences of tectonic snaps and volcanic explosions, and what can everybody tell about the great many of sunken boats and air planes…. Among the most interesting routs for diving in the Crimea are Martyan cape (unique recreational zone on the territory of Nikita Botanical Garden. Here also the rocks-Camels are located. The instructors feed the swallow-fish here and give the tourists opportunity to feed them by themselves), rocks Adalary in Gurzuf (also will cause an interest in the lovers of archeological diving, as on the bottom of these place one can see the residues and things of Ancient Greek boats), caves of the famous Swallow nest, sunken boat in the area of Yalta passenger port, Ayu-Dah cape, or Bear-Mountains (here is an outstanding dead end grot where only certified divers are allowed to enter ).

Many companies this year offer special combined tours for April-May- June-September-October. The main interesting excursions include 4 or 8 days trip with visiting the most prominent Crimean pearls such as alushta, Gurzuf, Massandra, Yalta, Miskhor, Foros, Balaklava, Sevastopil, excursions to Red Caves and Mangul-Kale, Nikita Botanical garden, Uchan-Su waterfall, castle “Swallow nest”, fortress Chembalo, Ai Petri mountain, as well – rest in SPA center, bowling, jeep-safari, sea excursions…
