The give support to Ukraine in its intensions to enter the European Union (EU) was reported by Slovakia`s Parliamentary Chairman Pavol Paska at the traditional Days of Friendship - Good Neighbours Days, which were held on the Slovak-Ukrainian border in Vysne Nemecke on Saturday,  was reported.

According to Paska, this event at the eastern border of Schengen zone is no longer official, as it was in the past, but completely natural. "Let`s wish for the ways of EU enlargement to continue, so that the intensions of Ukraine can be realized, indeed, after meeting all conditions necessary for entering the EU. Then this meeting will not be held at the border, but in the free space of the EU," emphasised Paska.

Also in attendance of the event was Ukraine Ambassador in Slovakia Inna Ohnivets, and other guests.
