The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has intensions to ensure within the next four years Ukraine's further integration into NATO, strengthen security collaboration with the European Union, and complete the drafting of documents on the state border and its demarcation.
This is reported in the government's draft program, which was posted on the official web site of the Ukrainian Parliament on Tuesday.
According to the reported document, the parliament is to ensure Ukraine's "further Euro-Atlantic integration under the prepositions established by law and the terms of reforming key areas in the country, including the economic field, in accordance with the Ukraine-NATO Target Plan for 2009 within the framework of the respective action plan and annual national programs."
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine also intends to extend Ukraine's collaboration with the EU in the area of foreign and security policies, and ensure the country's membership in EU peacekeeping and police operations.
The parliament is planning to ensure Ukraine's participation in international and regional protection organizations, international events on maintaining peace and settling conflicts on the prevention of the spread of weapons of mass destruction, terrorism, transnational crime, money laundering, human trafficking, illegal immigration and drug trade. |
