From the 1 January 2008 the state control for the establishment of city building and other project documentation, local rules of building of settlements, requires of data and state building norms by the local power authorities, developers and realtors will be held by the State architecture building inspection and its territory subdivisions.

This structure is working in the content of Ministry of regional development and building.

According to the Law of Ukraine "About introduction of changes to some of the legislative acts of Ukraine as for execution of architecture building control and providing of investing activity in building" (N1026 -V from 16 May 2007), only inspections of state architecture building control, but not the local power authorities are authorized to give the permission for the execution of building works.

State architecture building control will be carried out according to the principle of single vertical. The Minister will be able to take and to dismiss the workers of these territory members.

The procedure of state expertise of the projects also will be reformed. It will be held by the specialized state expert organization of the Ministry of regional development and building of Ukraine.

It is also planned to change the procedure of receiving the Ukrainian property objects into operation by the state commissions before the readiness of the certificates for the objects. Strictures that will be able to give outsuch certificates will have a full responsibility for the suiting of the object to the project and exploitation requires.
