A project for the building of a railway from Kyiv to Boryspil airport can be prepared by the end of November, Ukrainian Vice-Premier in charge of Euro 2012 Borys Kolesnikov has reported.
"I consider the project will be ready by the end of November," he added at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
Kolesnikov mentioned that there was by now a plan offering the building of a rail link between Darnytsia railway station and Boryspil airport.
As it was said, an agreement on financing the building of a railway between Kyiv and Boryspil International Airport was concluded during Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych's state visit to China.
A framework contract signed between Boryspil International Airport and a Chinese company permits Ukraine to get credit financing of up to USD1 billion and foresees the building of an eight-kilometer-long railway from Kyiv to Boryspil Airport, the building of four railway stations and the provision of the railway with electric trains. |
