President Viktor Yanukovych expects an equal dialogue with the leadership of the Russian Federation during his visit to Moscow, scheduled for September 24. This was announced by Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Konstantin Grishchenko to journalists in New York.
"The president is going with a very serious positions. And he is ready to open dialogue, to an equal dialogue to reach a reasonable balance of interests between the two is really strategic partner countries" - said Grishchenko.
As you know, the President will travel to Moscow on a working visit 24 September to the invitation of his Russian counterpart. Viktor Yanukovych and Dmitry Medvedev will try to return to cooperation.
On the agenda of the meeting the most urgent issues of bilateral relations - the price of gas and Ukraine's integration into the Customs Union.
Experts do not exclude that in the first issue Russia may make certain concessions. In any case, the meeting should show how Moscow and Kiev are ready for reconciliation. |
