Interview with Famous Beatle

It is a great possibility for our country to welcome a legendary singer of all times and peoples - Paul McCartney is going to give a concert at the Independence Square of the capital of Ukraine. The performance will take place on Saturday, 14, June.

"We all are really happy to see and listen to the most famous songs of our favorite singer. This Beatle for many years is hold in our hearts" - say Paul's fans in Ukraine.

The scene is already ready at the Independence Square and everybody is waiting for this prominent event.

On the official site of Paul McCartney there is a short interview with singer as for the concert in Kyiv.


 

• We congratulate you with such success in Liverpool. Great show, excellent remarks! And what about your own feeling?
• It was a great day. We ourselves got lots of pleasure. The audience was just fantastic. It is always very pleasant to give the concert for the countrymen. The concert in Liverpool caused large amount of pleasant memories.
• What do you think about forthcoming concert on Saturday in Kyiv? The British mass media wrote that in Liverpool you "tear off the roof". Will the roof at the Independence Square stand fast?
• We hope that! But this time I would better say that we will bear off not the roof but socks. It will be great on Saturday. I am waiting for this day very much. All of my friends told me what a wonderful place Kyiv is. As well it is very interesting in historical manner.
• Several hundred thousands are a very serious thing. How do you prepare to such a scaled show?
• Actually in the same way. We think what song is better to start with and others are added. We have "natural" rehearsals somewhere at the open air or stadium. But estimating a large size.
• What can you tell us about your Ukrainian language?
• It is excellent…Ha-ha-ha, I am taking courses.
• The Ukrainian media have carried out the voting for the favorite song of Paul McCartney. Do you have favorite Ukrainian song?
• I have heard the Ukrainian cover She loves You. I think it is cool.
• In Liverpool the people admired Dance Tonight. Can something from Memory Almost Full be waited on Saturday?
• Currently I don't really want to give detailed information before the performance, as it will kill all the surprises.
• We know that you play different musical instruments. What about kobza?
• Oh,yeh, I play it every night (joke)
• 'The Ukraine Girls really knock me out', discuss...
• They leave the west behind...
• First it is Liverpool, then Kyiv… Now there is much hearsay about the tour? Do they have sense?
