The capital of Ukraine has plans to renew vehicles by the Euro 2012 European Soccer Championship, the press service of Kyiv city council has reported.
Kyiv city council has amended the city's purpose program of preparations and holding the finals of Euro 2012 in Kyiv.
Thus, it is planned to purchase 250 buses, 220 trolleybuses, 45 tramway wagons for the national budget funds and 187 buses and 190 trolleybuses for the funds of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
According to Deputy Head of Kyiv city council Anatoliy Holubchenko, "this change was introduced according to the UEFA's requirements to set a relevant targeted city program." |
