Kyiv Prosecutor's Office has given back a 12-hectare land site to the Pyrohovo National Architecture and Life Museum of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv Prosecutor's Press Secretary Myroslava Mushka reported on November 5.

Earlier, the prosecutor's office, on behalf of the State Committee of Ukraine on Land Resources of Ukraine, appealed against Kyiv City Council's illegal decision of October 31, 2009, under which a land site of 12 hectares at 29 Akademika Zabolotnoho Street in Holosiivsky District was given to the Ukrinvestbud Company for 25 years for the building of a hotel and entertainment complex and an equestrian sports club.

"As a result, the land site from the preserved territory of the National Architecture and Life Museum of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, was given back to the museum," notes the information.
