The next week Kyiv city state administration with finish determining of 20 land plots (two for every administrative district), where this year building of multistoried parking will be started.

It is reported by city state administration in “Some measures as for attraction of investments for building of multistoried parking lots”, that was signed on April,7.

This document changed almost identical order from 2005 “About projecting and construction of multistoried parking lots in Kyiv”, according to which during 2006-2007 in every from 10 districts of the capital at least two multistoried parking lots had to be built. As it was signed by ex-major Oleksander Omelchenko it was not executed by current government.

Otherwise, Oleksander Lutskiy, vice president of Kyiv city state administration describes that the objects were not appeared due to other reasons. “Firstly, the construction was planned for the budget money, but not for the investors’ funds. Secondly, there were no technologies permitting to realize the project”.

The scheme of location of multistoried parking lots in the capital was developed two and a half years ago. Hence, after approval by state Rada it didn’t reach the session hall, being lost in the municipality rooms.
