
A high-speed tramline that connects the Borschahivka residential district with the railway station's district in the Ukrainian capital, was opened after reconstruction on Saturday.
Ukrainian Premier Minister Mykola Azarov, deputy head of Kyiv city administration Oleksandr Popov and government members participated in the opening ceremony. They took a tram from the Kiltseva Doroha station to the Starovokzalna station with journalists.
Romena Rollana, Hnata Yury, the Sosniny family and Ivana Lepse stations are ready to receive passengers after a comprehensive building.
The tram stations have turnstiles with electronic ticket-stamping machines and information indicator boards. The price of the ticket will be Hrn 1.5. |
