
Five banks have submitted bids to take part in a tender to issue two credit lines worth a total of over USD 160 million to Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv region), airport press secretary Oksana Ozhihova has reported recently.
"Alfa-Bank, VTB Bank and National Credit Bank submitted bids to take part in a hryvnia mortgage. VTB bank and Transcommerzbank (Russia) submitted bids to take part in a foreign currency mortgage," she reported.
According to Ozhihova, the bids will be assessed within 10 working days of the date of their disclosure - September 30.
As it was said, Boryspil airport in late August proclaimed tenders to select banks to open two credit lines for USD 150 million and Hr 450 million.
A mortgage of USD 150 million will be used to finance the building of Terminal D, and a loan of Hr 450 million for the construction of a parking lot.
As it was noted, the Ukrainian government and the JBIC in 2005 signed an agreement on a loan worth about USD 180 million to implement the Boryspil International Airport renovation project. The mortgage was provided for 30 years with a 10-year grace period. |
