Current Prime minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko promised to investors to make equal conditions for business making in Ukraine. Tymoshenko made this statement at the meeting held for the Investors Council that was formed under the Cabinet of Ministers.
"Equal conditions for holding of all businesses in Ukraine without preferences to anyone," she noted, speaking about priorities of her Cabinet.
Another priority named by Tymoshenko is to create, together with investors, favorable conditions for business in Ukraine and to remove bureaucratic hurdles.
Tymoshenko also promised to minimize the level of corruption in Ukraine.
She has admitted that the government already started introducing the measures it set for investment climate improvements. Thus she mentioned, the government has given a proof for a procedure for holding auctions through which non-agricultural lands will be leased out or sold.
Moreover, Tymoshenko , the Cabinet of Ministers has done their best to bring export and import operations out of shadow and toward their customs clearance.
She said to investors that the Cabinet will ensure transparent privatization.
The first large organization to be privatized is the Odesa Portside Factory.
"We have a clear plan to turn the business system in absolute order," the Prime Minister said.
She reported that during the meeting they will form a Council of Investors and register its creation officially.
During the held meeting they will discuss budget compensations for VAT to exporters, the prospect of introducing quotas on grain, sunflower oil and seeds, and the problem of raid attacks on business.
Tymoshenko asked the investors to help her government build up a systemic work between the authorities and the Ukrainian and foreign businessmen, and support the government in implementation of measures against corruption.
"We have to be a joint team that will demonstrate a result to Ukraine," she noted.
As it was earlier observed, Tymoshenko favors formation of an effective consultative council of investors under the Cabinet of Ministers.
She earlier urged investors to participate actively in the perfection of the Cabinet action plan. |
