About 46 %, or almost 4 million hectares of the winter crops in our country were in good condition and about 43% (3.7 million hectares) in a pretty satisfactory condition as of January 14, according to the Agriculture Ministry report.

According to the ministry report, winter crops on a territory of about 850 000 hectares (10% of the total territories) were weak and thinned.

In particular, winter wheat on 47% of the sowed areas is in a good condition, on 44% of the territories in a satisfactory condition, and 10% is weak and thinned.

Winter barley on 42% of the sowed territories is in a good condition, on 47% of the territories in a satisfactory condition, and 11.6% is weak and thinned.

Winter rape on 38% of the sowed territories is in a good condition, on 41% of the territories in a satisfactory condition, and 2% is weak and thinned.
