
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has intensions to spend Hr 4.5 billion from the 2010 national budget to the construction and reconstruction of strategically important facilities in Kyiv and for the city's preparations for hosting the finals of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship.
This was admitted in cabinet resolution (No. 891) of April 7, 2010.
The document foresees approximate amounts of financing to realize projects important for Kyiv using the national and city budgets in 2010-2012, as well as other sources. A list of projects is noted in the resolution and divided into three components: investment projects aimed at the carrying out of functions of the capital, aimed at preparations and hosting the Euro 2012, and other projects which are strategically important for the city.
According to the resolution, this year it is planned to spend Hr 814 million from the national budget to ensure the carrying out of functions of the capital by Kyiv, Hr 3.6 billion for investment projects in Kyiv aimed at preparations for and hosting the Euro 2012, and Hr 112 million for other strategically important investment projects of Kyiv.
Additionally, it is planned to spend a total of Hr 3.9 billion for the three groups of projects in 2011, and Hr 1,5 billion in 2012. |
