The average cost of 1 m2 of private residential property in Kyiv region with land plots, not taking into account houses in estates, from October 1 until November 1 2009 went up by 0.95%, to 903 USD per square meter.

According to recent press release of Kyiv-located SV Development consulting company, the average cost of private houses in Kyiv region in the period under review was of USD85 300.

The largest increase in the cost of one m2was registered in Boryspil District at 3.6%, where the average cost of one m2 was USD1 235. The minimum growth in the cost of one m2 was registered in Obukhiv District at 0.38%, where the average cost of one m2was USD1, 374.

The largest fall in the cost of one m2 was registered in Vasylkiv District at 2%, where the average cost of one m2 was USD 918.

According to the company, costs for private housing in Kyiv city for the period grew by 2%, and the average cost per one m2 there was USD1 210. The average cost of a house was USD 142, 500.

SV Development noted that the largest share of houses for sale over the period under review was seen in the Kyiv-Svyatoshyne (24% of the total supply), and the lowest in the Makarove and Fastiv districts (2% in each).
